Scientific research in the field of light-based driver assistance. Conception, development, realization as well as verification by means of field study of a novel light system called "Marking Light". Publication of various scientific papers at international conferences (IEEE, VDI, etc.) as well as successful patent application. Furthermore construction and 3D printing of a prototypical light system. Software engineering in C++ and C for the realization of a real-time capable control of actuators. Application of image processing algorithms and artificial intelligence for detection, classification and tracking of objects. Awarded by the initiative "Germany - Land of Ideas" as a "Selected Landmark 2012" in the section Science and Research.
